How does WebP compression work?
WebP is a modern format that typically beats JPEG and PNG at the same visual quality. PixPress re-encodes your WebP with smart subsampling, which preserves color detail in high-frequency areas while compressing smooth regions more aggressively.
Adjust the quality slider to trade a small amount of fidelity for a much smaller file. The alpha channel is also supported, with a separate alpha-quality setting.
